Every year in October when China is in its longest national holiday of the year which lasts for seven days, many people will flock to different tourist attractions to have a ‘great holiday’, seeing millions of tourists at the scenic spots. Many of them seem to do this for no reason, but are there any beneficial effects of international travelling? This essay will state that there are indeed a few benefits of international travelling.

Firstly, international travelling can help us to learn. Tourist can learn a great deal of mental treasure. They will improve the ability to speak foreign languages. International travelling gives us a linguistic environment, which can help us to learn foreign languages just like our mother language. What’s more, sightseers also learn more about the identity and characteristics of many other cultures and ethnic groups. After the travel, when they think of the country, what they have in their mind are their own experiences, instead of some statistics and some pictures.

Secondly, international travel can bring us globalized mind. After travelling, the travelers can get rid of the daily routine of home and work, but to know more about the globe, know more about how different people live, and to develop the habit of concerning about things all around the world.

Thirdly, international travel can bring individuals friendship. There must be a lot of friends during the trip. It can be the tour guide, or some other ‘donkey friends’ during the journey. These friends can help you during the trip. For example, you can stay at their houses for free and they can provide you some tips to pay the lowest money but have the greatest time. Furthermore, they may help each other in the next several years after the trip.

In short, there are indeed many benefits of international travelling besides relaxing and enjoying the view. Travelers need to know these benefits clearly so that they can gain these treasure while and after the journey.
