Dear Lily,

I’m glad to hear that you are going to Beijing soon. I’d like to share some information about the Summer Palace with you now.

The Summer Palace is the biggest royal garden in China. Empress Dowager Cixi built it by millions of people. The great work was built in Qing Dynasty and it was very big.

There are different fun experiences in different seasons. In summer you can go sightseeing and boating, or fly kites and take a walk. In winter you can go skating or play ice hockey.
