My Trip to Guizhou
This summer holiday, my friend and I traveled to Guizhou. We took part in many interesting and meaningful activities and enjoyed ourselves there.
What made me most interested in is FAST, the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope, which was proposed 22 years ago by Chinese astronomers. FAST is the largest radio telescope in the world, which is as large as 30 football fields. When I saw it with my own eyes, I felt really shocked by its function and size. After we went back to the hotel from the site of FAST, we enjoyed an amazing lecture about FAST and space. We learnt about how and why FAST was built in Guizhou and also we learnt that we would explore more about the space. During the speech, I listened to the engineer carefully and took some useful notes while listening. Also, I tried to ask several questions bravely. Now I become more and more interested in space.
In addition to this meaningful activity, we also had some other activities to have fun. We went rafting, climbed mountains and caught fishes in the paddy fields.
What an interesting and wonderful holiday we had!
