                                                                             A trip at the Cultural Park

It was a sunny day. My family and I went to the Cultural Park for a trip. When we got into the park, we saw a big tower with colourful lights. Under the tower I saw different kinds of colourful flowers. There were pink, red, yellow, orange and purple flowers around the shiny tower. There were rose, chrysanthemum and big-leaf hydrangea. Then we saw a big “palette”. The wood was the main body of the “palette”. And the “paints” were made of colourful flowers. The flowers were on the wood. It looked so real! My Mom told me that the flower art exhibition was used for celebrating the Chinese New Year. There were also three arches behind the “palette”. The garden was so pretty that my little sister asked my mom to take photos for many times.

Behind the big beautiful garden, we saw the centre stage. There was a show of Guangzhou Opera. It was a pity that the show started at 7 p.m.  It was too late to watch the show so we missed the show. There were something different in the park——museum! Besides the garden and the centre stage, there were eight exhibition halls. I saw flower arrangements and I saw Chinese Calligraphy.

If you think it was just a normal park with a garden and eight exhibition halls, then you were wrong. Because there was a museum called Guangzhou Thirteen Hongs Museum. There were two floors in the museum. There were many expensive collections in the museum. The collection I liked best was ivory flower-shaped fruit box and carried patterns of figures and Black cacquer dressing desk with golden patterns. The first one is made of ivory and the other one is made of expensive woods. What a wonderful day!

It was time to go home. I would never forget the Cultural Park because I loved the garden and the museum!
