My pet

（turtle, kitchen, hair）

Today is my birthday. I want a pet. I go to the pet shop with my mum.

“I want the little green turtle.” I say, “I can take good care of the turtle.”

Soon I get a turtle. I’m so happy! It has two small eyes, a small mouth, and a short tail. It can swim in the water.

“Oh no! Where is my pet?”

“It is in the kitchen,” says dad. “But why is it in the noodles?”

“I know! It falls down from the table,” says mum. “The turtle’s head is in the noodles.”

“Ah hah! My pet has long curly noodle hair!”
