                                                                          The Little Egg

Hello everyone, my name is Demi and I am eight years old. Today I will tell you a story, “The Little Egg”. A little egg was in its nest. Actually this was an egg with a little chick. Pick, Peck, Pock, the little chick was trying to hatch. Suddenly, the little egg rolled down the straw out of the barn. Then the little egg started its adventure tour. In the beginning, it met a mouse, a sheep and a cow on the hill, but they were sleeping soundly and did not see it. Then the little egg rolled down the hill and into the woods. A fox behind the tree found the little egg and he wanted to eat the egg. Pick, peck, pock, the little chick did its best to peck the eggshell. The fox was very scared and let the little egg go. Then the little egg rolled down a hole which was the rabbits’ house. One rabbit said “Who put this egg in my house?”

The other rabbits said “We don’t know. Let’s throw it away!”

The rabbits shot out the egg into the night. Unluckily, an owl saw the little egg and he said, “Hah, I will have a wonderful dinner today!” At the same time, the feet of the little chick came out and it hopped across a field. But the owl was very fast and caught the little egg and flew up into the sky. Crack, crack, crack, the little chick did not give up and it used all its strength to escape from the owl. Finally, the little chick succeeded and fell down into its home nest exactly. Cheep, cheep, cheep, the little chick’s mom was very happy to see her new baby again.
