My  Favorite  Season

In most countries, we have four seasons every year, and each season is beautiful but also different. The season I like best is autumn.

Autumn is also called fall. It begins in September and ends in November. The weather is usually cool and windy. Sometimes it’s rainy. People always wear sweaters and long pants.

In autumn, the leaves on many trees turn into pretty shades of red, orange, yellow and brown, and they cover the ground, which make the streets colorful and attractive. Birds fly to the south group by group, and apples become ripe and large. By then, apple trees will appear in a dazzling kind of red.

Another reason I like autumn is because my birthday and my favorite western festival, Halloween, are all in this season. I also love going to orchards to pick fruits and running while flying a kite in the cool breeze.

I like spring, summer and winter too, but not as much as autumn.
