My Favourite Season

There are four seasons in a year, but my favourite season is winter, because it’s the most wonderful season.

Although the snowy winter is cold, the snow makes winter beautiful. The snowflakes float softly down, like flocks of white elves. They cover the ground with a white carpet and decorate the tall trees with gorgeous plumes. They turn the world into a magnificent palace. What a beautiful scenery! I like it!

Besides enjoying the scenery of snow, I can do many funny activities in winter. I can make cool snowmen, build little snow houses, roll a fist-like snowball into a gigantic snowball, and have snowball fights with my friends. But I like sledding the best. Sometimes when I sit on the sled, my dad pushes the sled down the hillside. Sometimes I jump on the sled myself, and then slide down the hillside. It’s very exciting.

I can have amazing time in winter, so winter is my favorite season.
