Ulrica’s Birthday (dog, messy, ball)

         There is a dog named Ulrica. He is very cute. Today is his birthday. His friends give him a birthday gift. It is a ball.

         Ulrica is so excited. He goes out to play the ball with his friends. They play games all afternoon in Central Park. In the evening, mom comes to Central Park and says to Ulrica, “It’s time to go home for dinner, before dinner, you must take a shower.” Ulrica follows his mom back home. After a nice hot bath, Ulrica puts on clean T-shirt and pants, and dries his messy hair. Ulrica’s mom makes a big birthday cake for him and there is one candle on the cake. Everyone sings birthday song for Ulrica.

         Ulrica blows the candle. Yes, he is one year old today, but he is a big boy!

         My dear friends, do you know why?

        Well, let me tell you, because one year for a dog is eighteen years for a man.
