The tortoise and the hare

       One day, the tortoise and the hare had a race. The hare was sure he would win the race so he took a rest. Eventually, the careful tortoise won. A few days later, the hare was unwilling, so they had a race again. This time, the hare made up his mind to win the race.

       The race began, the hare ran slowly as slowly as the tortoise, at the last 200 meters, the hare ran towards the final line, and said: “Goodbye!” The tortoise didn’t care, and he walked and walked. How steady! “Look at the hare!” The animals shouted. The hare almost won the race! But he was too tired so he crashed into the tree and died.

       The hare’s death made the tortoise unhappy, but he won the race and all the animals cheered for him.
