The fox and the crow
六八班 邵文心
Once upon a time, there was a fox and a crow in the forest. One day, the crow stole a piece of meat. She rested in a tree. A fox passed by the tree. He saw a crow with a piece of meat in its mouth. The fox thought for a while and had a good idea.
The fox said to the crow, "Dear crow , I hear you sing very well. You sing better than all the other birds. Can you sing me a song?" The crow was very happy. She opened her mouth to sing. The meat fell out of her mouth and into the fox's mouth. The fox was very complacent. The crow was surprised and upset.
But the crow's voice attracted several hunters. The fox was shot by a hunter. The hunters brought home the dead fox. The crow was afraid and flew away. From then on, she was never vain or conceited.
We should not be like the fox, deceive others and then achieve their own purposes. No pains, no gains! We also should not be vain and conceited.
