Today is Milly’s birthday.She wants a pet for her birthday. So Milly and her family go to the petshop. Milly is very happy. She puts on her new T-shirt and jeans.

 In the petshop, there are many pets. Milly is very excited. She runs to see the bird, then runs to see the rabbit, then runs to see the turtle……. Suddenly, she kicks a cage. In the cage, there is a dog. The dog is angry.He shows his teeth and barks. Milly runs to hide behind the door. After a while, the dog is not barking. The shopkeeper says," The dog barks because he was frightened." Milly is not scared now. Milly thinks the dog is cute. She likes the dog. Dad and Mom buy it for her.

The dog is Milly's pet now!
