                                                            The Beautiful Nanao Island

During the National Day, I went to Nanao Island with my family. It is very beautiful. I will never forget it.

Sep 30th

This morning, Mum told me that we would go on a trip to Nanao Island tomorrow. I was very excited. In the evening, we made the whole plan and went to the supermarket to buy some snacks to eat on the way. There was so much yummy food, such as potato chips, chocolate beans, and four bottles of water. Therefore, we had to pack our luggage. It is so late now. I am too excited to sleep.

Oct 1st

Today is the birthday of my motherland. Happy birthday! My China! However, we couldn’t watch the parade, because we spent a whole day on our trip. Finally we arrived at the bridge across the sea --- Nanao bridge. There was good news and bad news. The good news was that I saw the boundless and brilliant sea. Some seagulls flew over the sea. The bad news was we met a serious traffic jam. It took two hours to cross the bridge. Finally we settled down in our hotel at about 10 p.m. What a tiring trip!

Oct 2nd-4th

The sound of the waves woke me before sunrise. Mum, Dad, grandma, grandpa and I enjoyed the sunrise on the beach. At first, the sun reddened the half of the sky before we could see it. Later, it rose little by little. At last, it was all above the horizon, and we could not watch the sun directly. The beach turned warmer and warmer. I made a sandcastle and a sand tunnel on the beach with my Dad. At noon, we had our lunch full of seafood, such as oysters, crabs, shrimps, and fish. We chose the seafood again for our dinner. However, my grandma didn’t like seafood so she didnt have seafood anymore and bought a bag of instant noodles for her dinner. Poor grandma! We enjoyed our time on the beach! We swam! We ran! We caught crabs! On the morning of 4th, Mum said it was time to go back home. I didn’t want to return, but the homework seemed to call me back. OK! Nanao Island, I will be back in the future!
