                                                          My Favorite Festival

My favorite festival is Chinese New Year. It is the most important festival for Chinese people. It is usually in January or February.

On Chinese New Year, people will put “Fu” on their door upside-down , because we think it can bring us good luck. We will use firecrackers to get rid of bad luck and the monster Nian. We will also give red packets to other people. It’s okay, because they will give you one another day. At night, families will get together to eat dumplings and a lot of delicious food. We will watch the colorful fireworks too.

This is my favorite festival Chinese New Year.
