In the lab, a group of materials were discussing. “I am the best to protect myself,” said a stone proudly. “I am the hardest, people used me thousand years ago.” Some other materials showed their admire and respect. “You can have a competition with me,” said a piece of rubber. “Let’s see who is better.” There was no applause, a while later, a voice said: “You can try, can’t you? Let’s see how many pieces you will break into.” The materials laughed. None of them believed the rubber would be better. It was so soft.
A few days later, some people came into the lab and tried two issues. They used a stone ball and a rubber ball. First, they threw the stone ball from a tower. Obviously, the ball broke into pieces. And then, they threw the rubber ball. When it hit the floor, it threw itself back to the air but didn’t lose any piece of itself. “I know I am better, “said the rubber proudly.
The stone was ashamed and never laughed at others ever again.
