                                                           My Summer Holiday

In my last summer holiday, I went to my uncle’s home with my mom. My uncle’s home was in a beautiful village. There was a shallow but clean creek in front of his home.

My brother and sister gave me warm welcome, soon we played together. They told me there were many fish in the creek and took me to go fishing. Instead of sitting at the riverside and fish with poles, we used hands to catch fish. After a while, my brother and sister caught many fish, but I didn’t catch any. I started to feel tired and disappointed. My sister came and told me: ‘You should move slowly, or you will scare the fish away.’ I followed my sister’s suggestion and moved slowly. After a few more tries, I catch a small fish. Then a second one in a few minutes, and the third…  At the end of the day, I caught a small basket of fish. That night, we enjoyed delicious fish soup.

What a wonderful summer holiday! I still want to go back and catch fish !
