                                                     My Book Report of The Little Prince

I read a very interesting novel, The Little Prince , in winter holiday.

The narrator of the novel is a pilot. He told the readers at the beginning of the story that he couldn’t find a talker in the adult world, because adults were too practical. Then he introduced how he made friends with the little prince. The narrator recited the story about the adventure of the little prince. The pilot was very sad when the little prince left the earth. He always missed the time they spent together because the little prince knew what the narrator drew. He wrote the novel to commemorate the little prince. 

There is an unnoticed part at the beginning of the story. It is about the communication between the narrator and the adults. The narrator drew a picture of a snake eating an elephant, but all the adults regarded it as a hat. But the little prince understood what the narrator drew. That's why he always missed the little prince. It shows that the adult's thought has been formed as only one pattern. For example, when the teacher draws a circle on the blackboard, all the college students will answer that it is a circle. But the kindergarten children will have a lot of answers, for example a ball or a wheel. People will become rigid when they grow up. Adults should learn to understand children, so the society will be more harmonious.

The Little Prince tells us a lot of profound truths about life. I recommend this book to you.
