                                                     Wuhan Huoshenshan Hospital

There had emerged a new type of virus, COVID-19 this Spring Festival. Because of the big number of patients, the beds in the hospital were not enough in Wuhan. Therefore, the City Construction Bureau of Wuhan ordered Construction companies to build a special hospital to help the patients of Covid-19, Wuhan Huoshenshan Hospital.

I thought it was impossible when I heard a hospital need to be completed in ten days. It cannot be completed in such a short time even it is said that we have world-class quality level in infrastructure. Besides, the hospital is not an normal house. The standard of building a hospital is very high. People can’t live in normal new houses quickly after decoration, because there is harmful gas in the air. But Wuhan Huoshenshan Hospital is different. It was built urgently and must be used in the shortest possible time. All of the materials must be environmental. Anyway, I thought it was impossible.

   One day, I was watching news on TV. The host said the main body of Wuhan Huoshenshan Hospital had been built. I couldn’t believe my eyes. The main body of the hospital had been built for only a week! After a few days, I watched news on TV again. The host said Wuhan Huoshenshan Hospital had been completed!

From the order to build a hospital, to the perfect completion, it only takes 11 days! They are not jokes! This is the speed of China!
