                                                     The Society In The Little Prince

      Many years ago,I heard the word ‘society’ but I didn’t know the meaning of it. Until the year of 2018 , after I read The Little Prince, I knew what society is.

      When the writer was a child, he thought all the grown-ups only cared about what they liked and what they wanted, never focused on the career ‘I’ want. What they wanted, was just money. “I can’t tell grown-ups that I see a very beautiful house,” he thought. They are tiresome for it. “Only when I say, ‘I see a house made of a hundred thousand francs,’ then, they will be surprised.” “What a beautiful house!”They would say.

      Then, let’s talk about the little prince. He is lovely. The little prince is just like an explorer. He explored seven planets, including the earth. Before he came to the earth, he met a king, a conceited man, a tippler, a lamplighter and a geographer. They just like all kinds of people in our society. The king has power. The conceited man is peacockish. The businessman is greedy. The tippler is ridiculous. The lamplighter is blind and the geographer is rigid.

     There are also other characters in the novel such as the little prince’s lover, a rose and his “teacher”, the fox. There is a society in the book, isn’t there?
