                                                      My Favorite Character in Harry Potter

                                                                                                  --Voldemort

In Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, my favorite character is Voldemort, who is a wizard with the nickname “Mysterious Man”. In the whole story, Voldemort seems powerful yet scary to most readers, as he has a specific aim, to find Harry and kill him. Fifty years ago, Voldemort used to be a young student at Hogwarts in where he formed his own attitude to life, “There is no absolute good or evil, only power and those too weak to seek it”.

From the whole story, this character who acts with great intelligence and grand plans, could make everyone in the magic world know his name but few dare mention it. Comparing with many other characters who seem righteous by surface but dark by heart, Voldemort is much more powerful and unique than them.
