Opposition side:

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen,honorable judges,though study is quite important to students and we should not let cell phones influence their learning, allowing students to bring cell phones to school is completely unreasonable and unrealistic.

We’ve got arguments to support our point that, first, though students could easily get information from the internet, when they have any questions, they won’t even think about it but just click the “SEARCH” box and find the answer. It will probably cause their dependency learning.

Second, there are types of negative information in the internet, they appear from time to time. Students are still underage, who do not have enough self-awareness, they might be affected by the information, including their physical and psychological health. For example, the will maybe have some violence behaviors.

Third, playing games is one of the reasons why students bring phones to school. Pupils might compare with their mates, this will cause the peer pressure.

Last but not least, parents and teachers have to take good care of children’s time, they might have such serious burden.

Based on this, it is justified to say that primary students should not be allowed to bring cell phones. Thank you.
