Personal information：

Severus Snape was born on January 9th, 1960. He was the youngest headmaster of Slytherin ever. Snape graduated from Slytherin in June 1978. He was good at Occlumency and lots of other black magic.

Severus Snape was quite introvert, and he wasn’t good at expressing his love and kindness. In fact, he was a gentle and kind wizard.

Personal deeds：

Snape has been in love with Lily Evans since childhood, but he was keen on black magic, and Lily broke with him. Then, Snape became Voldemort’s man. Later, because of Lily’s death, Snape knew everything about Voldemort. He became a Death Eater again as a spy for the Order of the Phoenix. After that, he became the headmaster of Hogwarts, and protected the students from the Death Eaters. At last Snape was killed by Voldemort's serpent Nagini. Before he died, he still loved Harry's mother, Lily, which is why he has been quietly protecting Harry.

Sage? Or devil? 

We may think that, Snape is a really bad guy. But in my opinions, he is a kind and great wizard. Since Snape was very small, he had fallen in love with Lily, the mother of Harry Potter. After many misunderstandings, Snape changed from a quite bad Death Eater to a spy at Voldemort’s side. He changed himself. It was the love between he and Lily, or he became kind at last. I think both of them are the reasons. Snape protected Harry because he still loved Lily, until he died. Before Snape died, he asked Harry to look at him because Harry has the same green eyes as his mother Lily. In a word, I think Snape is a really kind and great wizard.
