                                                            A Book Review of The Little Prince

    The Little Prince is the book that the French writer Antoine De Saint-Exupery wrote. He was a pilot. He wrote this book for children and adults. This book was very famous in the world. I like it very much.

    This book was an interesting tale about a pilot (the narrator) and the little prince. A pilot’s plane was broken in the Desert of Sahara where he met the little prince at sunrise. The prince wanted the pilot to draw a sheep for him. That is how the pilot made the acquaintance of the prince. They became good friends. The prince was very curious, naive and lovely. He shared a lot of things about his planet with the pilot. He also told his experiences of the seven planets to the pilot. The little prince loved his only friend, the rose, on his small planet. He cared for it every night by protecting it with a glass globe and requesting a muzzle for his sheep. The prince didn’t like the masters from the other planets. They were puzzling. They liked money and power. They couldn’t understand what love is. At the end of the story, the prince left the pilot. The pilot missed him very much and wanted to meet him again.

    I think this fairy tale is about love. It is a sad story too because the prince was lonely and he was too young to understand the true meaning of love. But I was impressed by the story. Love is a very important thing in everyone’s life. The little prince is just a child, so at first he couldn’t understand what love is and why we should love someone or something. So he didn’t know how to love the rose. A little argument separated them, so the little prince left the rose and his planet. He started travelling. I think the prince was going to look for the true meaning of love. Love could make us be responsible for something, just like the little prince taking care of his rose.

The little prince makes me feel very warm because of his truth , his love. And the most important thing is that he knew how to love at the end. I am very touched. I think this book can make the adults to think about life. Children also can learn many good things and inspire their imagination. This is the reason why this book was so popular.

 When we are children, we play all day. We don’t treasure our childhood. Everyone will grow up. So most of the grown-ups never memorize their childhood and don’t know what love is. The adults are busy every day just like the businessman in the story who thought about what he had but never enjoyed them. I think this book wanted to tell the adults some truth: thinking about your childhood first and looking for the true meaning of love. Having a simple life, doing something meaningful and being responsible for something.

I really like the book The Little Prince. It makes me feel warm and also tell me some truth. I recommend this book for everyone, and I hope everyone will like this book and the little prince who was naive and lovely.
