Charlotte is Back

Charlotte gave birth to many spiders before she went to heaven. All the spiders went to different places, and they all started their own future.

On a sunny afternoon, Wilbur got up early. 'It's time for breakfast, little spiders!' After hearing this, three small spiders embraced each other, as hungry as bears. At this time, Templeton came sadly, and Wilbur said comfortingly, 'what's the matter with you, my good friend?' 'Wilbur, I went to visit the dead Charlotte this morning. I Miss Charlotte so much,' cried Templeton. Ames, the smallest spider, asked, 'who is Charlotte? Is she a spider, too? Is she still alive? ' The biggest spider Ocalvin also asked, 'You talk about Charlotte every day. Who is she?' Wilbur thought, ‘Oh no! What should I do? What should I do?’ 'Well, she's a spider,' said Wilbur. 'She's my friend.' 'Then she must be our mother, and she's still alive, isn't she, uncle Wilbur?' Ocaven said. Wilbur stammered, 'She's your mother. She's still alive. But she's far away. ' 'All right!' 'We'll wait for her.' Ames said. 'Nobody can change that!' Okawin said definitely. Everyone nodded and smiled.

On the other side of the sky, an angel gave Charlotte a new life. It has become a spider called 'Lu' again.

After a few weeks, farmer Mr. Zuckerman came back in a big truck. 'Fern! I'm back! ' Cried Mr Zuckerman. 'Dad! You are back. What good things did you bring for me? ' 'A lot. You'll know when you come here.' The laughter of them faded away as they went into the house.

'When will our mother come back?' Asked Ames. 'Er...' Wilbur said incoherently, 'she I'll be right back. '

'Is she there anyone?'

Everyone looked in the direction of the sound.They saw a small spider. 'Hello! My name is Lu.,' she said.

‘Hello! ' Greetings from the three little spiders. 'Did you see our mother? ' 'Where are you from?' 'How did you get here?'

'Wait a second, boys. Don't speak so fast.' Said Templeton. 'Lu, how did you get here?' 'I am from the big truck,' she answered. Wilbur said, 'This little guy looks very quiet. It is very similar to Charlotte...' 'Why do you talk about Charlotte again? Let's get to know our farm first.’ Said Templeton.

Lu looked around. Everything was so familiar. Lu climbed up where Charlotte used to weave, and began to weave skillfully and quietly. Wilbur was surprised, 'Charlotte Ah no, Lu, how can you weave a net here? '

'I, I don't know. I just want to weave,’ Lu whispered. 'It’s so familiar here. ' Wilbur thought it was amazing, and then Templeton took Lu to walk around the farm. 

Two weeks later...

'Lu! Come and play tennis! ' Orcavin and Ames asked the little spider Lu to play the ball game. 'Not today! Today is my birthday. I want to have a party on the farm! ' After a while, Lu faltered and uttered a sentence.

'What?Your birthday is June 24? ' Asked Wilbur. 'Yes, it’s today.' Lu replied. Wilbur thought, Charlotte's birthday is today too. Is Lu Charlotte?

Everyone is very happy. 'Happy Birthday! Happy birthday!' 'We have good food today!'

Why is everything about Lu the same as Charlotte’s? Weaving, birthday, character...Wilbur was lost in thought...

That night, Templeton and some of the farm animals brought delicious food. They had a good evening.

'Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you...'

    At midnight, everyone went to sleep. But Wilbur couldn't sleep. It was still thinking about Charlotte.

'Hiss ...' who was it? Wilbur heard the sound in the pigsty and went out to have a look.

Lu was weaving a net! 'Happy Birthday' was written on the net. Wilbur was shocked. He believed more in his own ideas.

Lu found Wilbur. 'Why don't you sleep?' Lu asked. 'I can't sleep... Can you tell me who you are? ' Asked Wilbur.

'...' Lu replied nothing. Wilbur felt the tenderness and kindness of Charlotte. 'I think you are very much like a friend of mine. She is gentle and kind. Very considerate... ' Wilbur's voice was getting smaller and smaller in the moonlight... They two were in tears. It was settled, Lu was Charlotte.

The moonlight was very so bright. The white light shone on Charlotte's net. Everything on the farm became white and gloss. Everyone was saying 'Happy Birthday' to Charlotte and Lu.
